Things are reaching a fever pitch with the Diddy story, and an unexpected party has entered the fold: Ashton Kutcher.
According to Daily Mail, "Ashton Kutcher is expecting a subpoena over his 'good friend' Sean 'Diddy' Combs as part of the hip hop mogul's sex trafficking investigation - just months after he and his wife Mila Kunis were shunned for supporting convicted rapist Danny Masterson."
A source spoke to the publication, letting them know that Ashton is going to stay mum.
"There is no way in hell Ashton or Mila will be showing any sort of public support for Diddy right now," the source said.
"Regardless of Ashton's long history with him, he has distanced himself from Diddy since Cassie's lawsuit, and even more so in the wake of the new ones.
"Mila will not let Ashton be in any sort of contact. He is expecting a subpoena as they have been good friends for 20 years," they added.
As this site and others have noted, Kutcher has had a public friendship with Diddy for years, so there is simply no hiding from this if and when things start to really ramp up.
During a joint interview, they even spoke about becoming friends.
"I was doing ‘Making the Band’ on MTV, he was doing ‘Punk’d’ and I gave him a call one day and said, ‘I heard that you are going to punk me and I just don’t think that’s a good idea," Diddy said to Kutcher.
Ashton responded, saying, "I think it was some version of ‘If you do that, that will not end well for you, but I think we should work out a deal," per The New York Post.
This is more troubling news for Kutcher, who took a public drubbing for his support of convicted criminal Danny Masteron.

Kutcher and wife, Mila Kunis, were exposed for writing letters of support for Masterson, who was being accused of committing despicable crimes. Things looked even worse when Masterson was convicted.
According to BBC, "Masterson was found guilty in May at a re-trial after the first jury was unable to reach a verdict in 2022. Following his conviction, Masterson was deemed a flight risk and was taken into prison custody.
"The actor was convicted after three women testified that he had sexually assaulted them at his Hollywood home from 2001-03 - during the height of his television fame."
Kutcher and Kunis both commented on the situation.
"The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the jury's ruling," Kunis said.
"We support victims. We have done this historically through work and will continue to do so in the future," Kutcher said in an apology.

As it stands now, Diddy is facing a litany of allegations.
Per Independent, "Lawsuits against the rapper began on 16 November 2023 when he was sued by singer and dancer Cassie, his former partner, who alleged years of abuse."
"In the most recent lawsuit against Combs, filed on 26 February 2024 in New York, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, alleged he was “subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction” and that he was forced to engage in relations with the sex workers Combs had hired," the site added.
Lil Rod stated that he was "sexually harassed, drugged and threatened," for over a year.
It's also been reported that "Joie Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs drugged her, sexually assaulted her and secretly recorded the assault," per Independent.
Shockingly, things don't end there, as more people have come forward to levy allegations against the disgraced mogul.
